[Last week my friends and I went on a hike to the nearby river. First of all, the trek there was insane! It’s not a legitimate path and had a very steep drop once you got to the end. The whole thing reminded me of an Indiana Jones adventure. The hill/drop going down was so steep that you had to sit on your butt and attempt to slide down, or crawl. Then you came to the mini cliff where on one side had unstable rocks that were constantly crumbling/sliding apart, and the other side was pure mud and had 5 tarantula holes. The options were great. Anyway, we finally got to the river, which had grown bigger after the rain earlier in the day. We swam, climbed, and crawled through the river up the huge rocks. It was so much fun, I had such a great time. Definitely going back soon!]
This summer I am going to Costa Rica, specifically UGA's campus near San Luis and the Monteverde Cloud Forest, where I will be taking 3 Spanish classes and enhancing my fluency. I will be living in Costa Rica for two months and want to show my experiences on this journey. Pura Vida!
