Entrada para mi clase de español 4090

          Hoy fue el día de San Luis, en realidad todo este fin de semana ha sido una celebración. Viernes fuimos a misa en la iglesia católica en el Bajo San Luis. Costa Rica misa fue muy similar a la Misa que tenemos en los estados, con excepción de un poco más español. Sin embargo, el domingo fue cuando había un montón de fiestas. Nuestro español clase 4090 tuvo la responsabilidad de entretener a los niños, que es en realidad mucho más difícil de lo que parece. Pero toda la experiencia fue muy divertido. Elegimos juegos como las sillas musicales, Simon dice, “Duck Duck Goose”, ponerle la cola al Coati, pintura de cara, y tuvimos una piñata. Yo era una de las personas en la sección de pintura de la cara y yo no tenía idea de lo popular que sería la sección! Me pasé 4 horas pintando flores, arco iris, y mariposas en las caras de los niños. Fue muy divertido! Me gustó mucho poder hablar con los niños. Ellos no juzgan, cuando metes la pata, y se ríen mucho cuando usted dice algo malo. También tuve la oportunidad de enganchar un par de los profesores y mostrar un poco de mi impresionantes obras de arte en sus rostros, así! Con todo, la día fue muy divertido y nos quedamos en constante movimiento, ya sea perseguido en un juego o ser el trabajo para los paseos a cuestas, los niños eran insaciables!

          [Today was the Day of San Luis, actually this whole weekend has been a celebration. Friday we went to mass at the catholic church in Lower San Luis. Costa Rican Mass was very similar to the Mass we have in the states, except with a bit more Spanish. Yet Sunday was when there were lots of festivities. Our spanish 4090 class had the responsibility of entertaining the children, which is actually a lot harder than it sounds. But the whole experience was fun. We picked games such as Musical Chairs, Simon Says, Red Light Green Light, Duck Duck Goose, Pin the tail on the Azote, Face painting, and we had a pinata. I was one of the people in the face painting section and I had no idea how popular that section would be! I spent 4 hours painting flowers, rainbows, and butterflies on children’s faces. It was fun! I really liked being able to speak with children. They don’t judge when you mess up, and they laugh a lot when you say something wrong. I was also able to snag a couple of the professors and showcase some of my impressive artwork on their faces as well! All in all, the day was a lot of fun and we were constantly moving, either being chased in tag or being the labor for the piggy-back rides, the kids were insatiable!]
